Привет!

В блоге Mixed Media Place вышло новое задание - нежная зимняя доска вдохновения! У меня по ней сложились украшения к Рождеству, и другие девочки-дизайнеры сделали много красивых работ! Смотрите  здесь!

ENG Mixed Media Place December mood board is charmingly tender. I decided to follow the colors exactly, and created a set of hanging Christmas decorations. 7 Dots Studio "Verano Azul" papers matched perfectly our colors, so I used them as backgrounds for mixed media elements. The set is made on the ready-cut bases by Scrapiniec. I also used a lot of Scrapiniec Christmas chipboard, as well as metallic snowflakes and handmade flowers as decorations. Wonderful Opal Magic Mermaid paints completed the full image of my Christmas hangers.

Когда-то в юные свои лет 13 я совершенно случайно попала на концерт Вахтанга Кикабидзе (подрабатывала там за кулисами). Помните такого почтенного дядечку? Ему сейчас чуть за 80, хотя уже тогда мне казалось, что ему далеко за 80 😁 Так вот, Кикабидзе спел тогда свою знаменитую песню "Мои года - мое богатство". Я же ее услышала впервые и мне она очень в тот раз понравилась.

Cегодня мне 36. Наверное, какая-то часть меня сейчас хочет психануть😫, всплакнуть😭, вернуть свои безбашенные 23💃... Но вот гораздо большая часть меня сейчас хочет спеть, как дядя Вахтанг:

Шепчу "спасибо" я годам
И пью их горькое лекарство
И никому их не отдам,
Мои года - моё богатство.

Сегодня я в разы "богаче", опытнее и целостнее, чем в те же 23. Невероятно приятно все-таки знать саму себя, понимать свою значимость, все свои желания, принимать свои недостатки. Осознанность - это самое ценное жизненное приобретение!✨

Greetings, dear Mixed Media Place friends! Today is my birthday, so I wanted to create something really beautiful for your inspiration :)) I hope I managed.

Long ago, I had this idea of creating an elaborate hanging wall decor in Middle East style, an Arabian night of my own. So when my kids outgrew the florescent stars and crescents on the ceilings of their bedrooms, I finally had an opportunity to turn the crescents into a beautiful hanger for my studio.

The process was pretty simple itself. I stuck the crescents together and covered this combination with white heavy gesso. Later, I applied some texture, using a modeling paste and a stencil. My intention was to keep this piece monochrome, so I attached the chipboards and metallic embellishments as decorations, and painted them partially with linen Impasto paint.

I also added some really shiny rhinestones here and there, as well as the chains and hanging trinkets. The whole process took me about two hours.

December is here, and we’re all so excited about Christmas preparations. Thousands of tiny lights in the streets, the shop windows, and our homes, bring warmth and joy to our hearts. It’s Christmas and we’re all kids again!

There´s a new challenge on ScrapsNPieces blog! It is dedicated to holidays table decorations. The reason being, that these days our dining tables become a very special place where all families and friends gather up to share love and good food!

This year I made a rustic but also glamorous centerpiece. I used natural elements and accented them with mixed media materials! It is beautiful and budget friendly piece of decor! 

My Christmas centerpiece is meant for the dining table. The base is a star-shaped wreath, on which I glued many pine cones with hot glue. I used a silver spray to color it. Then I highlighted the edges of the cones with white gesso. In the middle of the star, I added a wooden décor piece by Wycinanka, which I also painted silver. I also added some flowers and rhinestones on top of it and filled any empty space with dried petals and nuts, which I colored with white paint.

RU   Дорогие друзья, с февраля я буду творить еще в одной замечательной дизайн-команде - в блоге MIXED MEDIA WORLD.

ENG   And today I will share my welcome project for Wycinanka brand. I chose to create some toppings and decorations for my daughter's birthday party. She turns 1 year old this friday, so the timing is perfect. And so are Wycinanka products - just perfect for decorating a party table! I've created a real colour blast with a touch of flowers, glitter and rhinestones, because this is what little girls are all about. I've also painted one beautiful herb sign with chalkboard paint in order to be able to write anything I want on it - like a birthday girl name or a name of a dish, for example. And you know what's the best part? I can multiply fun by recolouring and reusing all these decorations next year again!

For this colorful birthday inspiration I used:

Ja kõige vahvam on see, et kõiki neid kaunistusi saab järgmine aasta üle värvida ja uuesti kasutada!

RU   Моей малышке Каролине на днях исполнится 1 годик! Как же быстро летит время, вроде только-только родилась :) Праздновать мы будем по-тихому дома, но украсим квартиру ярко и весело. Сегодня я хочу показать вам украшения для нашего праздничного стола, в изготовлении которых я использовала сразу целую серию изделий от Wycinanka.

"Jako projekt powitalny postanowiłam stworzyć dekoracje na urodziny mojej córki, która w tym miesiącu skończyła roczek. Produkty Wycinanki perfekcyjnie udekorowały urodzinowy stół. Stworzyłam inspirację, która wręcz eksploduje kolorami, brokatem, kwiatkami i cyrkoniami. To coś, co małe dziewczynki lubią najbardziej. Jedną z drewnianych tabliczek do ziół pomalowałam farbą tablicową. Dzięki temu można na niej napisać imię dziewczynki obchodzącej urodziny, nazwę potrawy itd.. A wiecie co jest najlepsze? Mogę przemalować całą dekorację i użyć ją jeszcze raz!"
