Life is short - artbook layout for Art Daily Cafe

Dear Art Daily friends!

The quotes on my new art journal spread say "Life is short. Do more than just exist." I am sure these lines could be a life motto for all creative people around the world. 

I choose to live fully, to inspire other people around, and to stay inspired myself. Remembering the fact that the human life is short and fragile, I try to be a better person myself. Sometimes it is not easy at all. But I am doing my best :)

Art Daily Cafe layout

Dear artistic friends!

The theme for May at Art Daily Cafe is witchery and magic, and it is something that always intrigues, doesn´t it? My art journal spread is inspired by the round shapes and nature green on our moodboard. I thought of the very important esoteric phenomena, such as cartomancy and astrology, and incorporated them on my layout. I do not know much about these things, and I am sceptical about alternative knowledges. Nevertheless, I have always been interested in them. Life is just more interesting this way, isn´t it?

Art Daily Cafe MY OWN STARS layout

So thrilled to present my first art journal spread at the Art Daily Cafe! I do a lot of art journaling, but I hardly ever show it. So the time has come! I was inspired by our mood board quite a lot. I decided to paint my own space in and my own stars, and I drew this really cool animal called yak into it. The moon is a symbol of change and transformation. It affects so many spheres of our lives. But not all are easily moved by its power and beauty. Some people just live their boring busy lives and don´t bother ever looking up at the stars. Just like my yak on this art book page...

ENG This month we have a wonderful calm mood board for you to get inspired by! I decided to create freely in my art book. The blank page in the art journal allows to let it go completely, create with less perfection and more authenticity. This time I got inspired by the round shapes and the colors on our mood board, and played around with stamps and inks.
