В блоге Глубины Подсознания новое, очень свободное задание из серии "фразы" - De gustibus non disputandum est (О вкусах не спорят). Недавно поймала себя на мысли, что в прошлой жизни я, наверное, была пауком. И это при том, что в нынешней я их до одури боюсь!!! Но вот что всегда со мной, так это какая-то нездоровая мания в скрапе все переплетать, перематывать, связывать... Замечаю за своими работами очень часто, что даже если и стараюсь не переборщить с декором, то в итоге все равно получаются джунгли. И не важно из тесьмы ли, из цветов, из чипборда или металюшек... Истинная паутина выходит! А у вас есть такие фишки, которые на бессознательном уровне у вас в творчестве получаются? И, может быть, вас самих иногда бесят? :)

I decided to make a little mystical layout using one of my favorite 7 Dots Studio collection "Garden Party". This collection speaks white summer nights to me, so I think it is totally acute at this time of the year. Faires, bug and butterflies, strong colour contrasts - this is a very beautiful combination.

Art Daily Cafe layout

Dear artistic friends!

The theme for May at Art Daily Cafe is witchery and magic, and it is something that always intrigues, doesn´t it? My art journal spread is inspired by the round shapes and nature green on our moodboard. I thought of the very important esoteric phenomena, such as cartomancy and astrology, and incorporated them on my layout. I do not know much about these things, and I am sceptical about alternative knowledges. Nevertheless, I have always been interested in them. Life is just more interesting this way, isn´t it?

У нас в Глубинах Подсознания новое задание "Techno Game". А у меня к нему гранж-страничка. Ох, давненько я не баловалась гранжем, аж соскучилась :)) За что люблю концептуальный блог Глубин, так это за смысл и за абсолютную свободу в творчестве! Если Вам не нужно рамки, заходите к нам, присоединяйтесь! Важны лишь смысл и тема, никаких обязательных элементов, никаких ограничений, творите так, как подсказывают разум и сердце! 

Most of us have gears we never use. У большинства из нас есть механизмы, которые мы никогда не используем. Но мы учимся, хотя у медленно. Сначала берем палку и сбиваем ей с дерева плод, затем приручаем собаку и лошадь и используем их в хозяйстве, изобретаем колесо, корабль, а когда-нибудь и межгалактическую ракету, замечаем, что по солнцу и звездам можно определять время и направление, свыкаемся с мыслью, что Земля круглая, а Бог един, или не един, или Его нет... Все это в разные периоды времени и на разных континентах, а иногда и одновременно и рядом...
В своем постоянном развитии мы все еще часто берем пример с тех, кого считаем примитивнее себя - с животных и растений. И пока мы не разучились этого делать, мы не безнадежны и будем прогрессировать как вид. С одной стороны, технический прогресс в последние столетия в некоторой степени подавил в человечестве животные инстинкты, но с другой стороны ничего в нашем мире по сути не меняется: выживают все еще сильнейшие, а  лучше всех живут те, кто умеет приспосабливаться. И так будет всегда. Делайте выводы.

На моей страничке вы видите большого скорпиона. Из органов чувств у скорпионов наиболее развито зрение. Конкретно у этого вида наибольшее количество глаз - 9. (У остальных, к слову, их тоже бывает до восьми). А еще у них есть весьма своеобразные гребневидные органы чувств, которые вообще за гранью нашего понимания. И ядовитый аппарат у них есть, и автотомией они владеют (в минуты опасности отбрасывают «хвост»). В общем, у нас есть, чему поучиться у скорпионов. Ведь мы все еще не до конца осознаем всех возможностей человеческого тела и разума. Но со временем и мы всему научимся... И будет интересно!

ENG Here´s my March challenge inspiration for 7 Dots Studio March challenge. I decided to create a layout combining different 7 Dots Studio products from various collection. I was inspired by our color scheme and all the dew drops on the pictures. I wanted to make something fairytaleish, something light but detailed. Hopefully you will like my dreamy layout “Believe in Miracles”.

ENG Hi everyone! I have a new tutorial on altering an interesting object – it is something in between a box and a book.
I wanted to create a tiny secret green forest, locked away from those who are just not living a life aware enough… Many people, including myself, unfortunately, are always busy focusing on the future and not aware of the present. This creation of mine is meant to remind me, as well as everybody who likes it, that we should actually try to experience our lives better, to reflect more on all the things we do… Because if we keep concentrating on the future goals all the time, a giant part of our present life will stay hidden behind a big heavy door with a huge lock on it.

Here is the video on how I created the “Into the Green” altered object. I used our Lindy´s Gang sprays, magicals and embossing powder, of course.

Настольный органайзер / Crafty organizer + tutorial

Какой-то страшно занятой мсжка этот февраль! Ничего не успеваю, болею, видимо, пора в отпуск, эх.... но не светит, а значит надо собраться и дотерпеть до лета :) 

Сегодня покажу вам свой новый настольный органайзер. Наконец-то дошли руки собрать этот огромный фанерный органайзер от ТМ Фабрика Декору! Кстати, сейчас этот органайзер вышел у них и из МДФ. С фанерным мне пришлось очень помучиться, так что если вы хотите и себе такой же приобрести, то я посоветую все-таки вариант из МДФ. И украсила я его бумагой, наклейками и штампами от 7 Dots Studio. Использовала их самую художественную коллекцию "Paint chips". В конце поста мини-видео-МК.

ENG This month I decided to make something that I had planned for about a year before alreday. But the stars worked their magic at last, and my art and crafts supplies organizer is finally ready!

Every crafter needs a proper desk organizer for their multiple tiny crafting stuff like pencils, brushes, paint and paper knives, scissors, as well as washi tapes and so on, and so on. I dreamt of an organizer like this, but my wish was for it to be very creative as well! So I finally found a proper base for it and decorated it the way it will always inspire me to create further. I chose the perfect artistic collection "Paint chips" and used it to the fullest! I took advantage of all the striking colorful paper sheets, the tags, the stickers and the stamp, and put it all together. My desk orginizer turned out truely artistic. It is also a highly functional piece of art:in additional to storing my art supplies, it also has a useful year calender attached in the middle.

ENG I made a mystical photo album, using a pre-made photo dossier by Prima and my favorite collection “Fortune-teller”. I absolutely love its mysterious designs and brown-blue color scheme. The collection is full of symbols, and every crafter can find something relevant for himself in it.

ENG My photo album is decorated with a little shadow box on the cover, which I filled with various embellishments referring to the alchemy science. All of the embellishments are brand new, but using some mixed media techniques it is possible to blend them all together into one harmonic picture. 7 Dots Studio stencil and clear stamps played their role in creating this magical album as well.

Hello! 

It´s my first time on the 7 Dots Studio blog as a new DT member! So exciting!!!

The timing is perfect, so I decided to make two Christmas / New Year cards using our marvelous YULETIDE collection. I took the “Chestnuts” sheet and used both sides of it as background for my cards. Later on, I added some texture paste pattern onto the surfaces and multiple layers of embellishments. Among them, you can see some pieces of out patterned paper (“Sugarplum”).

The tags from the corresponding collection, some chipboard, die cuts, flowers, leaves… as well as little cheerful cuttings from a magazine (yes, the cinnamon, the orange slice, the nuts are all magazine scraps. I added some gold paint and glitter here and there and got a pair of curious Christmas cards to give to my friends.

And a quick tutorial on how I created this rustic Christmas card.

I used the wooden texture of the “Chestnuts” sheet from the YULETIDE collection and enhanced it with mixed media materials like transparent 3D gel, colored sand, and white gesso. I kept the decorations simple in order not to hide the beauty of background. Among the embellishments, you can see tags from the same collection. The backside of the card and the inner money pocket are made of “Sugarplum” paper sheet.

From the video, you can also learn how to incorporate natural moss into such a simple scrapbooking project like a Christmas card. Adding natural materials usually gives this extra cozy feeling to your papercraft projects.
